Jayne E. Gruver Smith, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, in Cedarbrook, Allentown.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Charlotte (McCabe) Gruver.

A 1962 graduate of Liberty High School, Jayne was employed as a customer service representative for AARP Insurance Co. for many years.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and was an avid Eagles fan.

Survivors: Daughters, Christine Palmisano, and husband Richard of Bethlehem and Heather Glanz, and husband Russell of Fargo, ND; sister, Barbara Mattes, and husband Arthur of Bethlehem; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a brother, Robert "Turk" Gruver.

Services: All are cordially invited to attend graveside services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
