Jean M. Green, 91, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown.   She and her husband, Donald P. Green, celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary last Friday.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Olive (Scholl) Nauman.

Jean was employed as an LPN by St. Luke's Hospital for ten years before retiring.  She continued to work at St. Luke's as a volunteer for an additional twenty years.

Jean was a member of Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church.  She was known for her infectious laugh, pleasant demeanor and lovely singing voice.  Over the years she had the opportunity to sing with several church choirs in the Lehigh Valley.

Surviving with her husband, Donald, are seven children, Lynn Pignatelli of Springfield, Bruce (Donna) of South Portland, Maine, Douglas (Betty) of Bridgewater, New Jersey, Bryan (Debbie) of Salisbury Township, Clark of State College, Susan (Dean) Chenski of Bath and Jonathan of Phoenixville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  One of fourteen children, Jean is survived by a sister, Joanne Campbell of Bethlehem.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 18, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 417 Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  Family and friends are invited to a calling hour in the church from 9:30 a.m. until mass time.
