Jeannette Janney, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  Her husband of 44 years, Elmer H. Janney, died in 2004.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Arlene Sechler.

Jeannette was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and played hand bells.  In addition to music, she loved crocheting and sitting in the rain under an umbrella.

Surviving are a daughter, Lyndell Boger and her husband Herbert of Freemansburg; grandchildren, Sarah Marzec, Benjamin Marzec, Jennifer McDonald, Lisa Perez and Herbert Boger IV; great-grandchildren, Dandre McDonald, Shawn McDonald, Alyssa Boger, Nelson Perez, Kayden Cruz, Kristopher Cruz, Sariah Cruz, Alivia Cruz, Vaida Cruz and Derek Boger (expected in the fall); great-great-grandchildren, Kayliana and Azari (expected in the fall).  She was predeceased by daughters Kimberly Marzec and Nancy Jo Janney, son Warren Janney, brother Herbert Sechler, sisters Carol Groman and Kathleen Loyko.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown.
