Joanne Marie Morris, 77, of Bethlehem Township, died November 9, 2024, in Bethlehem North, Bethlehem. She was the daughter of the late William R. and Betty (Wolfe) Newhardt, Sr.

She was retired from the Northampton County Assistance Office after more than 30 years of service. Previously she was employed at the former Laros Printing Co. Joanne was a Lutheran. She enjoyed baking and learning about her Indian Heritage.

Surviving are companion, Michael Salvaggio; brother, Roger T. Newhardt, Sr. of Easton; sister, Judy L. Salvaggio and husband Michael of Bethlehem Township; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; extended family, Mark and Greta Salvaggio and their children, Christopher and Shelbie. She was predeceased by a brother, William R. Newhardt, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 15, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Viewing from 10 – 11 AM.
