Joanne M. Reichenbach, 81, of Bath, passed away March 25, 2022, in Duke University Hospital, Durham, North Carolina.  Her husband of 58 years, Harry B. Reichenbach, died last November 15.

Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth (Monk) Desiderio.

A Liberty High School graduate, Joanne owned and operated a day care center for more than 15 years.

Joanne's musical arc spanned seven decades, beginning as a youngster singing live on WBRE radio in her hometown of Wilkes Barre.  After the family moved to Bethlehem, she accompanied her sisters at the piano, rehearsing as the JAN Sisters (Joanne-Annette-Nancy), performing frequently on WGPA and WKAP radio, and were cast as regulars Sundays on the Children's Hour on WCAU-TV10.  By 1958, the trio began appearing in countless community events in the tri-state region, and competed on the Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour on CBS nationally.  After a 40 year hiatus that included rearing children and spouses, they again performed their ever-popular American Songbook fare for seniors, were featured at an annual Gala for America On Wheels Museum, and recorded two CDs - so Joanne's musical accomplishment lives on.

A member of Dryland UCC Church, in Nazareth, Joanne enjoyed history, antiques, and was an avid supporter of the Special Olympics and Down Syndrome Foundation.

Always a lover of children, Joanne's main focus in life was her family and time spent with her four beautiful grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Heidi (Allen) Singer of Nazareth and Heather (Jason) Archer of Cary, NC; a son Anthony Reichenbach of Paonia, CO; two sisters, Nancy (Robin) Miller and Annette (John) Houser, both of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Chloe Walsh, Christopher Singer, Paige and Owen Archer.  She was predeceased by beloved son Christopher.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Saturday from 1 - 2 p.m.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
