John J. Huyter, 86, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Roseann (Lawrence) Huyter who died in 2013.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late John S. and Helen (Strelecki) Huyter.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, John was employed as an estimator at the Bethlehem Steel Co. before retiring.

He was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.  John enjoyed antiques, bowling, golf and belonged to the Pinochle Club of the Allentown Seniors.

Surviving are daughters, Jacqueline Vollman with whom he resided and Michele Vargo of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Tanya and David; and a step-granddaughter Valerie.

Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
