John M. Retos, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023. He was the husband of Sharon (Skleder) Retos.

Born in Monessen, PA, he was a son of the late John and Colletta (Hepple) Retos and step-son of the late Andrew Latta.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, John was a chef at Fox Hill Country Club and Country Meadows before retiring.

Surviving with his wife Sharon are sons, Jonmichael Joshua Retos and his wife Megan Kerns Retos of Monessen and Jacob Matthew Retos and his wife Lauren K. Retos of Bethlehem; brothers, Theodore Aldridge in Ohio, Nicholas Retos of Albany, NY and Andrew Latta of Bentleyville, PA; a sister Anastasia Gause of Sesser, IL; and grandchildren, Cole Jacob, Eva Brooklyn and Tessa Grace.

Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, April 6, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park with military honors. Family and friends are invited to visitations Wednesday, April 5, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time.
