Joseph L. Forni, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2022, in the hospice house of St. Luke's. He was the husband of Diane (Paulsen) Forni for the last 54 years.

Born in Queens, he was the son of the late Charles and Gussie (Dimino) Forni.

Joseph was employed as a route driver for Aramark before retiring. A proud patriot, he served in the Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm for over 20 years.

Joseph enjoyed the casino, watching Fox news and M*A*S*H , and the New York Mets.  He exhibited a deep love for his country and grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife Diane are a son, Joseph, Jr. of Bethlehem Township, daughter Jennifer, wife of Tim Zackey of Bethlehem, brother Michael of New York, grandchildren Zachary, Avery, Tyler (T.J.), Nora, Ruthie, Jude, and daughter-in-law Wendy.

A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends are invited to call from 10 - 11 a.m. Thursday.
