Juana T. Donato, 96, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in her residence.  She was the wife of Bonifacio Donato for 70 years.

Born in Cayagan, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Anselmo and Feliciana (Ignacio) Trilles.

She was employed as a Professor of Home Economics at the Adventist University of the Philippines.

A member of the Bethlehem Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mrs. Donato enjoyed sewing, letter writing, crafting, and loved her grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband are her daughter, Welda Duque (and husband  Manny) with whom she resided; brother, Philip in California; sister, Catalina Par in the Philippines; grandchildren, Jonna Lopez, Andrea (Jim) Asmus and Patrick Duque; and great-grandchildren, Autumn, Ethan and Landon.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Macada and Jacksonville Roads, Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call Sunday, January 13, from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
