Judith Lorraine Parker, age 78, passed away on August 9, 2021 peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was born on Dec. 19, 1942 to Ralph Millhime and Dorothy Jacoby and raised in Fountain Hill.  She played the clarinet in the high school band when they won the state High School Basketball Championship for their division.  She graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1960.

Judy was happily married to Rex Parker for over 37 years; twelve of those years she helped with Rex's career in the US Army and lived in Germany, Louisiana and Alaska.

Judy is survived by her husband and sons Jeffrey A. Groenewold, Randy A. Groenewold and his partner Craig Livingston.

Judy started working for St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1967.  In 1976 she became the private secretary to the Director of the School of Nursing until 1985.  After living all over the world, Judy worked for the Allentown Health Bureau from 1996 until 2012.  Judy's fondest memories were  those during the Christmas Holidays when she would help families who had come here from other countries so they would have a very Merry Christmas.  The joy on the faces of the children and the appreciation from the parents was always overwhelming.  She loved doing that for many years.

As an avid dog lover, Judy's last request is that all eight of our dog's ashes will be mixed in with her ashes.
