Judy M. Ihle,79, of Bethlehem, the beautiful woman with a heart of gold, passed away May 10, 2026, in St. Luke's Hospice House. Her husband of 53 years, Barry R. Ihle, died March 7, 2022.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Relovsky) Chontofalsky.

After high school, Judy began working at the Bethlehem Steel Co. and then worked at Durkees. She retired from B. Braun Medical after 20 years of service.

She was a long time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, which is now Blessed Trinity of Rosemont Lutheran Church.

Judy enjoyed vacations at the beach with friends and family over the years, taking long car rides, and completing word search puzzles. She was a fan of the TV show Blue Bloods, but especially liked watching sports with her husband to help cheer on the Phillies. More than anything else she loved to spoil her grandchildren who were the center of her world.

Surviving are her loving son Brian of Bethlehem; her beloved daughter Tami and husband Robert Holmes, Jr. of Bethlehem; her brother Richard (Patricia) Chontofalsky of Tennessee; three grandchildren Brianna (Joseph) Mikucki, Dallas Holmes, and Austin Holmes; and great-granddaughter Kaiya Elizabeth Mikucki. She was predeceased by sisters Barbara and Nancy and an infant brother Donald.

Judy was kind, caring, and always thoughtful of others. She rose above her physical disabilities and frustration to always project a positive attitude. She masked her pain with a beautiful smile, and will be remembered for that sunny outlook. Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 15, in Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden Street, Bethlehem.. There will be no calling hours.  The Pearson Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her arrangements.
