Judy Lychak-Sweet, 63, died peacefully in her home on September 28, 2018.  She was the wife of Albert Sweet.

Born in Bethlehem, Judy is the daughter of Dr. John C. Lychak of Bethlehem and the late Elva (Pierson) Lychak.

A 1972 graduate of Liberty High School, Judy earned a Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University and a Master's Degree in hotel management from Cornell University.

One of her first jobs was managing all the athlete housing for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.  She continued in the hotel management field, working for some of the world's largest hotel companies, opening new properties and managing others.  For a time, she was manager of the Philadelphia Country Club.  She and her husband relocated to the Phoenixville area where she lived at the time of her death.

Surviving with her husband and father are  sister, Jane Fontenot of Houston, Texas;  brother, John D. Lychak of Bethlehem; step-mother, Elizabeth A. Lychak; step-sisters, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
