Julianne Emerick, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away December 21, 2023, in Northampton Post Acute Care Center, Easton. She and her beloved husband John C. Emerick have shared 43 years of marriage together.

Born in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Ferencz II and Julia (Sluck) Ferencz.

Julianne graduated from Manville High School in 1969, received an RN after completing the nursing course at Raritan Valley Community College and earned a Bachelor's of Nursing degree from The College of New Jersey in 1980. She was employed in various nursing positions in New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley before retiring.

Julianne was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Surviving with her husband John are two daughters, Theresa Krohn, and her husband Andrew of Nazareth and Christine Murphy, and her husband Stephen of Mechanicsburg; a brother, William Ferencz of Nesquehoning; and a grandson Anderson Joseph Murphy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 27, in St. Anne's Catholic Church, Washington and Easton Avenues, Bethlehem, PA, with a Nurse Honor Guard Tribute at 10:15 AM in church. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 9:30 AM until mass time in St. Anne's Church. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
