Keith W. Young, 71, of Bethlehem, passed away May 31, 2023.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Kenneth W. Young of Bethlehem and the late Pearl (Stoudt) Young .

A 1970 graduate of Freedom High School, Keith was a licensed master plumber and worked in the family company for many years before retiring. While at Freedom he was a member of the baseball team and also was a drummer in the Patriot Band. He later became a devoted supporter of the Liberty High School Grenadier Band while his sons were members. An avid Yankees fan, Keith loved fishing, and traveling to warm places. In his earlier years he was a member of the Bethlehem Jaycees, Past President and Coach of the North East Little League and Coach of St. Peter's in the Greater Bethlehem Church Basketball League.

Keith was a life time member of the former St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and was able to attend the final worship service in that building on April 30. He served on Church Council for many years and also oversaw the property committee.

In addition to his father, with whom he resided, he is survived by two sons, Joshua (Cassandra) and Matthew, both of Bethlehem; a sister Pauline (Paul) Kalynych of Bethlehem; and grandchildren, Kensley, Noah and Wyatt. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Ann Kemmerer.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, June from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM.
