Kevin "Cheezer" Michael Smith, 46, of Bethlehem, died Monday, May 15, 2017, in St. Luke's Hospital Warren, New Jersey.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Barbara Cunningham with whom he resided, and the late Neil A. Smith.

A 1989 graduate of Northampton High School, Kevin was a varsity wrestler who placed second in the State Championships.

He enjoyed fishing, landscaping, creating outdoor water ponds and visiting and helping his friends.

Survivors: Kevin is survived by his mother, Barbara;  a daughter, Cheyenne of Treichler's;  a son, Dakota of Bethlehem; and in addition to his children, the love of his life, Janet De George, of Oxford Township, NJ; a sister, Tammy Smith of Wilkes Barre; "step-monster", Elizabeth Fiala; niece, Jennifer Mead and her daughter Paisley; nephew, Patrick Mead; step-daughter, Samantha Morris and her daughter ZaNiyah; along with his wife of 22 years, Keri Smith, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Because of Cheezer's cheerful personality and uplifting outlook on life, please wear bright colors instead of black to his celebration service.   Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
