Lorraine R. Koehler, 96, who has resided for the past 11 years at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the home.  Her husband of 62 years, Donald M. Koehler, died in 2010.

Born in Valley View, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Eva (Reed) Miller.

A graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business College, Lorraine  was employed as a teletypist in the communications department of the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 38 years before retiring.

Lorraine enjoyed playing cards, bus trips, quilting and antiquing.  She was a former member of St. Thomas UCC Church (Macada).  She cherished spending time and making memories with her family and friends.

Surviving are daughters, Donna (Stephen) Schwalm of Harrisburg and Karen (Ronald) Gotto of Emmaus; sister, Constance L. Litrenta of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Craig Schwalm, Carrie Wilson, Corey Schwalm, Lindsay Anderson and Lauren Kelly; great-grandchildren, Gannon and Grant Schwalm, Ashlyn Wilson, Lincoln, Hudson and Arden Schwalm, Aiden Kelly, Claire and Carson Anderson; a nephew and a niece.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Bruce, Horace and Dale Miller.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
