Louis Williams, Jr., 79, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the husband of Wanda (Kucharczyk) Williams. They were married 45 years last June 14.

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Louis H. and Mary (Kilbourne) Williams.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army while stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Louis earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University, Baton Rouge. He worked on nuclear power plants in California, Kansas, Tennessee, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. He finished his career in the IT department at Lehigh Community College before retiring in 2013.

Louis was a very active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bethlehem, and its mens group for over thirty years. He was an avid bowler since 1977 with several perfect 300 games to his credit.

Surviving in addition to his wife Wanda are a son Michael of Nazareth; a daughter Molly (Allan) Siman of Furlong, PA; step-grandchildren Toivo and Gus Siman; nephews and niece Eric, Marcus, Reginald and Karen Williams; sister-in-law Monica Kucharczyk and niece Olivia Montgomery. He was predeceased by brothers Allen and Lester Williams.

Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, May 15, in Wesley United Methodist Church, 2540 Center Street, Bethlehem, followed by interment in Nisky Hill Cemetery. The Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Louis's name may be sent to the Capital Campaign fund of Wesley United Methodist Church, 2540 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
