Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Rednagle) Papp.

Margaret was employed in the Executive Dining Room at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for many years before retiring.

A lifelong member of the former St. John Capistrano Church, she sang in the choir for more than 40 years.  Margaret was an honorary member of the Beethoven Mannerchor and belonged to the Auxiliary Knights of St. George.  She loved opera, especially Pavarotti, and will be remembered by friends and family for sending beautiful greeting cards for every special occasion.

She is survived by step-daughters, Theresa Hartner of Slatington and Michele (Roark) Grammes of Allentown; step-son, Thomas (Marsha) Gonda of Bethlehem Township; nephew, Richard Papp of  Longmont, CO; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a brother John Papp.

A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 29, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery.  Calling hour from 10 - 11 a.m. Monday.
