Mae B. Atkinson of Bethlehem Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2019, with her loving daughters by her side.

Born: March 27, 1920, in Pequest, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Floyd and Sarah Burdge.

Personal: Her husband of 48 years, David O. Atkinson, Jr., died earlier.

Memberships: She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Allentown.

Survivors: a daughter, Virginia M. Boerstler, and her husband, Glenn, of Nazareth; a daughter, Beverley Atkinson, of Amherst, MA; Four grandchildren, Glenn W. Boerstler II, Karin E. (Wayne) Albert, Kristen B, Hann and Robert D. (Kathy) Hann; Three great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy M. LeClair, of Bangor, PA; a sister-in-law, Elsie Burdge in New Jersey; nieces and nephews. A brother, Floyd W. Burdge and a sister, Laura B. Collins died earlier.

Services: will be private at the convenience of the family.  Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem is in charge of arrangements.
