Margaret "Marge" Crouthamel, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 in Cedarbrook Fountain Hill.

Born on September 23, 1941, she is the daughter of the late Grace (Isparis) and Mahlon Strawn, Sr. She was married for 29 years to the late Reading Crouthamel who died March 11, 2017.

A 1959 graduate of Liberty High School, she and her husband enjoyed camping and fishing as well as cooking for their campground friends. She worked for 23 years at A Personal Touch answering service in Bethlehem.

At Cedarbrook Fountain Hill she belonged to the auxiliary. She was Vice President of the Resident Council where she made many friends and loved them all. She enjoyed making the morning announcements including weather, birthdays and activities for the day. She was a story writer for the Hillside News and starred in her own television show Moments with Marge , where she would share funny stories about her life. She attended church services with Chaplain Laura weekly. She got a lot of enjoyment from feeding the fish in the pond behind the building. She was crowned Queen of Valentine's Day and Mrs. Santa Claus because she gifted the children of St. Luke's Christmas in July.

She is survived by her loving son John Anders; 12 year old Yorkie Prince; brother Mahlon Strawn, Jr., his wife Rose and their three children; brother Jerry Strawn and his two children; stepdaughter Bonnie; granddaughter Raylene and her five children; stepson Jamie and his four children; stepson Christopher and his friend Maria.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4 – 5 pm on Wednesday, January 18, followed by a private service for her family.
