Marie W. Wolfe, 95, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, in Alexandria Manor, Bath. Her husband of 55 years, Joseph M. Wolfe, died in 2004.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Alaric and Bessie (Kichline) Weber.

Marie was Assistant Vice-President in the consumer loans department at the Bank of America through many iterations of the bank. She graduated from Bethlehem Business College. She was a charter member of the Lehigh Valley branch of National Association of Bank Women. She served as treasurer of that group and also of the Liberty High School Grenadier Band Parents Association.

She was a member of Bethany UCC having served as deacon and elder for multiple terms. Marie was a member of the Tuesday Club and several Bridge and Pinochle groups. She and her husband happily traveled to all fifty states and most of the Canadian provinces. Marie was an avid Phillies fan who especially loved when John Kruk was the announcer.

Surviving are her daughter, Marcie A. Wolfe of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Wolfe of Lawrenceville, Georgia; granddaughter, Caroline; niece, Joan M. Hottle; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Dennis, sisters Miriam Schaeffer and Charlotte Hottle, and a brother John Weber.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 8, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by inurnment in Bethlehem Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to call Friday from 10 AM until service time in the funeral home.
