Marion R. (Christ) Forrest of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017.   She was the wife of the late William L. Forrest.  Born in Bethlehem to Frieda (Bader) and J. Raymond Christ, Marion was a graduate of Liberty High School where she was the Salutarian of her class.  She attended Moravian College and was a graduate of Kutztown University.  She served as Latin teacher/Librarian at Matamoras High School, then as Children's Librarian at the Bethlehem Public Library.

Marion served as a Gray Lady for the Red Cross at the Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center.  She was elected to the Emmaus Library Board and became volunteer director of the library.  Appointed to the Emmaus Arts Commission at its inception in 1985, Marion was the 1992 recipient of BPW's Nike Award for service to the community.

She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Emmaus, where she was active in Church School, Women's Circle and Session.

Survivors: Survivors included numerous dearly loved nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by four sisters.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 23, at 2:30 p.m. in the commons of Westminster Village, 803 N. Wahneta Street, Allentown.
