Mary S. "Mimi" Gottlinger, 101, passed away January 14, 2022, in Gracedale.

Born in Lake Ariel, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Hannah (Jones) Swingle.

Mary was employed as  a typing supervisor at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for many years, then later as a teacher's aide in the BASD.

She was a member of Grace Church, Bethlehem.  An avid knitter in her earlier years, she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Sakasitz, and husband Raymond of Bethlehem; sister Bonnie McAlarney of Athens, GA; granddaughter, Lynann Wallaesa; great-grandchildren, Noah, Miles, and twins Eve and Stella; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 20, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by entombment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call Thursday from 10-11 a.m.
