MaryAnne Harkins, 86, of Allentown passed away Sunday July 28, 2024 in her home. Her husband of 63 years, Hugh M. Harkins, Sr., died September 3, 2019.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Berasley) Michrina. She retired as a District Court Clerk for Lehigh County. Prior to that position, she managed the Post Office Substation located in the former Leh's Department Store for many years. MaryAnne was a four-time cancer survivor whose strength amazed all those who knew her. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Phillies games and working on her crossword puzzles.

Surviving is a son John and his wife Terri of Allentown, daughters: Valarie and husband Andy Clymer of Bethlehem Township, Lisa Harkins of Hellertown and fiancé Chris Sommer.  Grandchildren: Jill Harbon and husband Dennis, Josh Clymer, Katie Sarianos and husband Christos, Kevin Palenchar, Kelly Palenchar, and Alyssa Harkins, as well as great-grandchildren; Ellie Harbon, Jackson Gilman, Eleni Sarianos and Niko Sarianos.  She was pre-deceased by a son, Hugh, Jr. and a granddaughter, Lauren Clymer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
