Michael L. Droney, 60, of Bethlehem, passed away August 7, 2023, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Born in Spring Township, Centre County, he was the son of the late Bernard E. and Janet (Karr) Droney.

Mike was employed by Lutron Electronics for 42 years and his most recent position was master technician. He graduated from Freedom High School and earlier in life was active in the Boy Scouts and Junior Achievement. Mike had a talent for repairing mechanical things and was often turned to as the "fix it" guy. He cared for and gave generously to many people and was fondly known as "Uncle Mike".

He is survived by his sister Michele Turner of Manheim and was predeceased by his parents (noted above) and his brother Bernie Claire Droney. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him well.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at the SureStay Hotel/Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center, 309 Gateway Dr., Bethlehem on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2 PM. Guests are welcome and encouraged to share a memory of how Mike touched their life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
