Michele Scipioni, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, in St. Luke's Hospice House.

Born in Alvi, Italy, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Caterina (Mazzilli) Scipioni.

Michele was employed as foreman at Team Plastic in Garwood, NJ, before retiring in 2007.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem, Township, PA.

Surviving are his daughter, Caterina Kanski of Atlantic Heights, NJ; his two sons, Lorenzo Scipioni of Westfield, NJ and Joseph Scipioni of Clark, NJ; his brothers, Bruno Scipioni of Nazareth and John Scipioni in Italy; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Valentino Scipioni and sisters, Albina Palumbi and Santina Mazzilli.

A visitation will be held at the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017 on Tuesday, April 16, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Another visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020 on Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m.  Entombment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
