Milagros Morales-Santiago, 71, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Born in New York, New York, she is the daughter of the late Juan Morales and Maria Teresa Santiago.

She received a Bachelor's degree from Queens College before coming to the Lehigh Valley in 1987.  She later earned a Master's of Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and began her teaching career at Catasauqua High School and Northampton Community College where she was an adjunct Spanish professor.  Mrs. Morales-Santiago spent most of her career teaching in the Bethlehem Area School District ESOL program until retiring.

Mrs. Morales-Santiago loved art, cooking, painting, and even returned to college for an art degree after she retired from full-time teaching.  Her life was dedicated to education, her beloved family, and community involvement.  She volunteered for numerous organizations including soup kitchens, voting polls and also the Art Center in Leesburg, Florida.

Surviving are her daughter Jazmin Delgado, and husband Luis of Leesburg, Florida; her brother Jose Enrique Caraballo of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Jaedon, Jilian, Jaclyn and Calev; nephews, Hector, Juan Carlos, Michael, Christopher, Jose, John, Eric and Bruce; and nieces Ada and Holly.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 7.  Friends and family members are invited to watch the live stream beginning at 1:00 p.m. on the Pearson Funeral Home, Inc. facebook page.
