Mildred M. Gavura, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away December 17, 2022. Her husband of 57 years, John D. Gavura, died in 2013.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Magyar) Lebish.

Mildred was an operator, then telecommunications supervisor at Muhlenberg Hospital for 30 years before retiring.

A member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem, she was President of Muhlenberg Hospital Center Credit Union for ten years.

Surviving are two sons, Mark of Bethlehem and David and wife Kathleen of Pittsburgh; granddaughters Natalie and Caroline; nieces Kathy King and Agnes Szilezy. She was predeceased by a sister Betty King.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Friday, December 23, in Notre Dame Church, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Family and friends may call Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 am in church.
