Mildred M. Kosits, 89, passed away May 19, 2021, in Westminster Village, Allentown.  She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Kosits, who died in 2000.

Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Stefan and Ludwia (Fakady) Milinichik.

Mildred loved playing softball from a young age, which might have been the basis for her lifelong love of the New York Yankees.  She also enjoyed playing bingo and gardening.

Mildred served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, then was employed by Western Electric for many years before retiring.

Surviving are her son, John (Pat) Phillips of Bethlehem Township; her daughter, Debra (Joe) Bottiglieri of Lewes, Delaware; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, May 26, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery.  A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. until service time.  The family prefers that masks be worn.
