Monica Marion Johnson was called home to the Lord on October 27, 2022. She was born on March 22, 1948 to Melvin and Dorothy (Sharper) Johnson both of Bethlehem. She was a member of St. John's AME Zion Church of Bethlehem. She was a long time employee at the formerly know Bell Atlantic, Western Electric and then Lucent Technologies for 34 years retiring early at the age of 53. She was a world traveler. She was predeceased by both her parents, sisters Karen Davis and Cheryl Johnson of Philadelphia, niece Karen Freeman and great-niece Dametria Davis. She is survived by her nieces Roxanne Duggan of Bethlehem, Rachel Davis of Georgia, and nephew Anthony Johnson also of Bethlehem; great-nieces and nephews Kendra, Desiree, Phuquan, Darius, Marcus, Owen, Phoebe, and numerous cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Monica's Life will be held at Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem PA 18017 on Monday, November 14, with the viewing from 10 am – 11:30 am followed by services starting at 12 pm. She will be laid to rest in Nisky Hill Cemetery, Church Street, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be sent to www.pearsonfh.com.
