Nancy Franges, 82, of Bethlehem, left us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, August 10.  Her husband of 46 years, George A. Franges, died in 2004.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Pakela) Hannkinson.

Nancy received a nursing degree from Easton Hospital School of Nursing.  She was the author of two books and several poems.  An avid reader and prolific writer,  she wrote daily in her journals.  A long time member of Life in Christ Church, Nancy served as the librarian and was honored to prepare coffee for the Sunday school.

She is survived by a son, David of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Jill Stahlberg of Bethlehem and Donna (Glen) Geinosky of Bethlehem; sister, Joyce (Dr. Peter) Steele in Utah; grandchildren, Brandy, Brittany, Brianna Stahlberg, Jared, Devin and Caleb Geinosky; and four great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her older brother, Paul Hankinson, Jr.

Services will be Thursday, August 16, at 10 a.m. in the church, 51 Hillmond Street, Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call Wednesday, August 15, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in church.
