Nancy Joy Parton, 97, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Twp.

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Rowena (Taylor) Joy.

Surviving are three sons, William of Loveland, CO; John of Glen Mills, PA; Richard of Garnet Valley, PA; a daughter Joy Parton of Annandale, VA; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of St. Ann's High School, Lansford, PA and Immaculata University, Malvern, PA. She was a former member of the Easton's Women's Club and served on the women's board of the Easton Hospital for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Bethlehem as well as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in St. John, USVI. She was a former member of the Northampton Country Club, Easton.

At the time of her death she resided at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. Her husband of seventy years, W. Julian Parton, preceded her in death on March 4, 2013. Nancy was also preceded in death by a granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. There are no calling hours.
