Nancy C. Schultz, 75, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in her home.  Her husband of 35 years, Edward C. Schultz, died in 2004.

Born in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Caroline (Dye) Cotner.  Nancy was a 1959 graduate of  Warrior Run High School and received a B.S. in business education from Bloomsburg University in 1963.  She was a teacher at Dieruff High School for 35 years before retiring in 1998.  Nancy devoted her life to education both inside and outside the classroom.  She was one of the first secretaries of the Allentown Education Association, and actively participated in regional and state levels of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.

Survivors: Sister, Mary Lou Murray, and her husband Joseph of Danville; nieces and nephews, J. Robert Murray, Cindy L. Tarr, Susan E. Wajda, John E. Murray and Lana L. Reed.  She was predeceased by a sister, Ethel M. Magargle.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 27, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call Monday from 10:30 until service time.
