Norman E. Erich, 96, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018, in Chandler Estate, Plainfield Township.  He was the husband of Marjorie (Reynolds) Erich and the late Blanche (Warner) Erich, who died in 1996.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Charles and Annie (Kleintop) Erich.

He was a chemical analyst at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 41 years before retiring in 1982.

Norman was the oldest member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, where he was a soloist and former choir director.  An avid tennis player, he was a member of the Bethlehem Tennis Club.  He enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving with his wife, Marjorie, are a daughter, Deborah, and husband Swannie Griffin, III of Bethlehem; niece, Jan, and husband Eric Haggquist of Arlington, Vir. and a nephew Lester Erich of Cape Coral, Fla.

Viewing will be 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, with the service at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
