Patricia R. Reichel, 91, of Suffolk Virginia, formerly of Macungie Pa. went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at home with her daughters by her side. Her husband of 59 years, The Rev. H. Gene Reichel, preceded her in death in 2022.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Rowland Rudolph and Mathilda (Ludwig) Riehl.

Pat met the love of her life working at the Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Her life of service to God and the church consisted of her love of playing the piano /organ, participating in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Young at Heart, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. She raised four daughters as a stay-at-home mother all the while supporting her husband's work in the ministry. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of her favorite pastimes were camping with her family, reading novels, and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Macungie, PA. Surviving are four daughters, Jeannie (Mark) Haras of Erie, PA, Julie (John) Hertz of Magnolia, NJ, Michelle (Jim) Graybill of Macungie, PA, and Mary Jo (Buck) Haney of Suffolk, VA; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister Joan Horter of Barnhart, MO surviving and predeceased by brother Kenneth Riehl.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA, followed by a burial at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Cemetery.
