Paul J. Sabatella of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on July 6, 2022 at the age of 53.  Paul was the son of the late Joseph and Ida (Fatto) Sabatella.  He attended Scranton area schools and graduated from the Institutes for Human Potential in Philadelphia.  He had various jobs in the food industry and also served as the equipment manager for the University of Scranton Royals Baseball team, while his Dad was the Assistant Head Coach.  Most recently he was employed at the LifePath Laundry.

Paul enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, football and soccer in person, especially when his nieces and nephews were playing.  He also enjoyed watching  Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles games on TV.  Paul was very friendly and always ready to give a compliment to others.  He particularly loved to laugh, dance and sing which brought joy to many.  He had a great memory for 80s music and his favorite musicians were Bon Jovi, Kenny Rogers, Foreigner and Chicago.

Paul is survived by his sisters; Ann Corinne Lushis (John) and Joanne Para (Richard) along with nieces and nephews: Christopher Lushis (Lindsay),Emily O'Toole (Zac) Aaron, Rachel, Brett and Matthew Para.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his great nephew.

Services:  A Calling Hour will be held on Monday, July 11, at 9:30 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Avenue, Scranton, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
