Paulette B. Mecherly, 73, of Macungie, passed away June 13, 2022.  She was the wife of Donald P. Mecherly for 49 years.  They were married October 13, 1973.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Paul Jr. and Julia (Gregor) Gloner.

Paulette was the secretary of Christ Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon, for 10 years before retiring in 1999.

She was a member of St. Michael's of Nativity Church, Allentown, where she served on altar guild and played in the bell choir.

Paulette loved bowling, crafts, quilting and sewing.  An avid card player, she was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband, Donald, are daughters, Beth (Michael) Brickler of Coplay and Amy (Doug) Jones of Macungie; twin sister, Paula M. (Daniel) Buth of Springhill, FL and sister, Susan (Joe) Fannin of Orlando, FL; brother, Paul Gloner, III of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Joshua, Julia, Micah and Madelynn; and nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
