Raymond J. Sakasitz, 73, of Bethlehem Township, passed away March 19, 2023. He was the husband of Mary "Betsy" (Gottlinger) Sakasitz.

Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Ignatius and Anna (Bayda) Sakasitz.

An Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, Ray was employed as an HVAC leader for the BASD for 30 years before retiring.

He was a member of Grace Church of Bethlehem. Ray's passion in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger days. Ray had a bold personality that was balanced by a softer sensibility for those around him. He will be remembered as the life of the party.

Surviving with his wife Betsy are his daughter, Lynann Wallaesa, and her husband John of Easton; his sister, Carolynn McNamara, and her husband John of Allentown; and grandchildren, Noah, Miles, and twins Eve and Stella.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 24, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by entombment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 10 – 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Grace Church of Bethlehem.
