Raymond C. Schwab, 91, of Belfast, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Gracedale.  He was the husband of Helen (Haberacker) Schwab.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Edwin H. and Mabel (Getz) Schwab.

Raymond served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery during the Korean War.  He was employed as an electrician at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 11 years, then worked for the Nazareth Area School District for 30 years before retiring.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bethlehem, where he sang in the church choir.  He also sang in the Lehigh Valley/Bethlehem Barbershop Chorus.

Surviving with his wife, Helen, are a son, David M. Schwab, and wife Barbara of Nazareth; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; step-sons, Tom Jumper of Belfast and Curt Jumper, and wife Olivia of Las Vegas, Nevada.  He was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Hoffman and step-sons, Rodger, Clifford and Joseph Jumper.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 20, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 3235 Linden Street, Bethlehem.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
