Richard "Dick" Laughlin, 93, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025. Born on March 30, 1931, in Fountain Hill, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Laughlin. A graduate of Fountain Hill High School Class of 1951, he was later drafted and served in the U.S Army as a Corporal in Akita, Japan. He worked as an estimator for Bethlehem Fabricators, Inc. and Bethlehem Contracting Company. Dick loved tinkering and fixing many things, but he especially loved building model airplanes. As a longtime member of the Bath Model Air Club, he enjoyed flying remote control planes and spending time with friends "out at the field." He belonged to Bethany United Church of Christ where he served as usher for 50 years.

Dick was the loving partner of Patricia Zavecz, with whom he resided for 43 happy years, and the stepfather of Regina Zavecz Kochmaruk and Christopher Zavecz. His granddaughter, Kristin Sebban (husband David Sebban) and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Sebban and Madylan Sebban, brought him great delight in his later years. Dick is predeceased by his sister, Joyce Holland; daughter, Susan Bennett; and grandson, Dillon Bleam.
