Robert F. Ensminger, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, in his home.  He was the husband of Marjorie J. (White) Senft Ensminger for 26 years.

Born in Belleville, PA, he was a son of the late Victor and Ida May (Bomberger) Ensminger.

Robert served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Japan.  He was a geography professor at Kutztown University, researcher, author and antique dealer.  He was a recognized expert in the hisotry of barn architechture and published a book on the topic "The Pennsylvania Barn: It's Origin, Evolution and Distribution."  He loved travel, dancing, music, sports and making people smile.  When asked what his goal was in life, he said "To have fun."  And he did!

Surviving with his wife Marjorie are a son, Dennis R. Ensminger of Alburtis;  step-daughters, Donna Moore of Weedville, PA, Mim Senft of Blooming Grove, NY and Linda Senft of Allentown; step-sons, Paul Sautter of Annapolis, MD and Brian Senft of Allentown; a brother, Richard R. of Sand Point, Idaho; and a grandson Jason.

Due to the pandemic there will be no services at this time, but a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
