Ronald F. Millard, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Robert and Rita (Messing) Millard.

Ronald served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was employed as a driver for an armored truck company.

A highly rated scrabble player, Ronald also enjoyed casinos and country music.

During the past two years Robert and Danielle have overseen Ronald's relocation from Lancaster to Bethlehem to provide a safe, loving environment in which he was able to thrive both physically and emotionally.  Danielle was instrumental in establishing a warm, loving home where Ronald felt loved and appreciated.  Always satisfied with his station in life, Ronald was a Gentle Giant who appreciated the kindness and care extended to him by his family.  Both he and his son viewed the past two years as a precious gift.

Surviving are his son, Robert with whom he resided; Robert's fiancé, Danielle; siblings, John (and his wife Linda) Millard, Mark Millard, Bill Millard, Robert Millard, Mary Hancock, Kim Daughtry and Chris Millard; grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Lena.  He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Wayne Millard and brothers, Michael and Patrick Millard.

A celebration of life will be coordinated at a later date.
