Rose Fugazzi, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in her residence surrounded by loving family. She was the wife of Anthony L. Fugazzi for the past 74 years.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Maria Nicole (Nicolella) Digiovancarlo.

She was employed in New York as a teaching assistant. It was in this career that she honed her love of puzzles, games, and arts and crafts. Her profound love for her family was her greatest gift and her smile and laughter could light up a room. She was also fond of Mike and Ikes candies, anything sweet, and Regis and Kathie Lee!

Surviving with her husband are daughters; AnneMarie Backlund and her husband Edward of Staten Island, Carol Scarangello and her husband John of Nazareth, and MaryRose Volpe and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem Township, grandchildren, John Michael and wife Brianna, Joseph and wife Kayte, Christopher and wife Klearsi, Danny, John and his wife Joanna, Kristen, and Katie, and great-grandchildren; Sydney, Luke, Reid, Donato, Camila, Cozette, and Isabella. Rose was predeceased in death by her grandson Carl, son of AnneMarie and Edward.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church , 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, 18020.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, July 12, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
