Royce W. Rush, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away May 18, 2021, in his home.  He was the husband of Mary L. (Jacobs) Rush.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Simon W. and Margaret (Fenon) Rush.

A 1960 graduate of Liberty High School, Royce served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  He was employed by the U. S. Post Office as a postal clerk for 41 years.

He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Northampton, where he sang in the church choir.  Royce enjoyed reading, traveling, woodworking and working outside in his yard.

Surviving with his wife, Mary, are his son, Brian (Amber) Rush of Avon, CT; his daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Sandt of Ocoee, FL; his brother Harold (Nancy) Rush of The Villages, FL; and four grandsons, Adrian, Trevor, Zachary and Nathan.

Services will be private.  Memorial donations may be sent to the church.  The Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, is assisting the family with arrangements.  www.pearsonfh.com
