Ruth I. Silfies, 93, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, July 9, 2017, in Alexandria Manor.  Her husband of 67 years, Donald S. Silfies, died in 2011.

Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Williams) Wildgen.

An active member of First Baptist Church of Bethlehem, Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors: Daughter, Susan Gould, and husband Ron of Bethlehem; sons, Bruce of Sinking Spring, Jeffrey, and wife Marie of Macungie and Matthew and husband Rick of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services: Will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, in First Baptist Church.  Family and friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. in church.  Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the church, 3235 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
