Sidney Lee Bailey, 72, of Northampton, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, in his home.  He was the husband of Winifred Norma (Kline) Bailey.

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was a son of the late Charles Arthur and Charlotte Elizabeth (Fiebig) Bailey.

Sidney proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a drum instructor at Hawk Music Store, and also worked in retail management.

A member of Life Church, he loved to tell jokes.  His passions in life were drumming and jazz music.

Surviving with his wife, Winifred, are a daughter, Tara Bailey of Catasauqua; sons, Kevin Bailey of Bethlehem and Byron Chen in Maryland; step-children, Sharon Walters of Easton, Valerie Jenkins of Northampton and Douglas Jenkins of Beersville; brothers, Douglas Bailey of Fredericksburg, Maryland and Brian Bailey of Pittsburgh; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
