Sister Mary Therese Raubuch O.Carm of the Carmelite Monastery, Coopersburg died on August 2, 2022 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, PA. She was a cloistered sister in the Carmelite Order of the Ancient Observance where she entered on December 8, 1950. She received the Holy Habit on July 15, 1951, professed her first vows on July 20, 1954, and her final vows on August 28, 1957.

Born as Mary Ann Raubuch on May 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Jungkunz) Raubuch. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Thomas Raubuch. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Sister Therese will be remembered by many with her cheerful yet prayerful telephone conversations when callers would call the monastery for prayers and other related matters. She served her order faithfully and with marked dignity, serving as prioress for six years.

Survivors : She is survived by her Carmelite Sisters.

Services : Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Alfred A. Schlert, Bishop of Allentown on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at the Monastery with private entombment following in the Carmelite Mausoleum. Calling hours will begin at 7:30 A.M. until the time of her mass.
