Theodore R. White, 91, passed away peacefully, with family, May 8, 2023, in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, PA. He and his wife, Dorothy (Smith) White, shared 57 wonderful years of marriage until she predeceased him in 2011.

Born in Haverford, PA he was a son of the late Nelson and Helen (Sullivan) White. He also had a previously deceased brother, Nelson.

Ted was a man who lived his life fully and adored his wife and family. Ted served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He graduated from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., where he met his wife, Dotti. He later earned a Master's Degree at Temple University. He was later employed as an analyst in the Department of Labor for the State of New Jersey. He also was a psychology professor at Centenary College, in Hackettstown, N.J. He worked at Bunker Ramo Corp., in N.Y.

Ted was a member of Grace Church of Bethlehem, served the church for many years, and especially enjoyed weekly Bible studies and being a Deacon. Ted loved golf and the beach. He valued exercise and completed the New York Marathon, at age 50. He was an avid Phillies fan, but always put God and his family first. He never wanted to pass up a chance to spend time with his family and friends! He loved many fun events with his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends! He felt that it was a privilege to be able to meet his Great Grandchildren. He also enjoyed travel. One of his favorite destinations was San Diego, California. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed the ocean! He truly loved spending time with family at the New Jersey beaches, Stone Harbor and Ocean City. In his later years, he enjoyed his friends and many activities at Kirkland Village, in Bethlehem, Pa., and he will be missed dearly by many.

Surviving are a daughter Nancy Morgan, and husband Eric of Wayne, PA; a son Scott White, and wife Michelle of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Glen (Katie), Kailie, Daphne, Audrey and Kevin; five great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Aidan, Parker, Karleigh and Kylie.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 15, in Grace Church, 4301 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Family and friends may call Monday from 9:30 AM until the service begins. Burial with family, will be in Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
