Vehanoush Nercessian. All who knew her have been blessed by her life.
Vehanoush, high and beautiful, a name befitting of her and her legacy.
She was born in Jaffa, Palestine on May 29, 1930, to Mary Aghabegian and
George Shahinian.
Vehanoush passed on to be with the LORD on August 20, 2022, at 92 years
old. She is survived by her beloved husband Ibrahim Nercessian, her
children, Vache, Varoujan, and Adrine, her sister and brother, Nevart and
Vahe, her eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Vehanoush grew up in Jaffa, where she attended the English High School.
She worked as an English teacher at the Terrasanta School in Amman,
Jordan. Vehanoush married Ibrahim Nercessian on May 25, 1958.
Vehanoush and Ibrahim spent a beautiful 64 years together and lived their
retired years in Glendale, California and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
surrounded by their much loved family.
Vehanoush was known for her exceptional cooking, baking, hosting, knitting,
and crocheting. She loved classical music, especially Andre Rue, and enjoyed
British TV shows such as, Downton Abby, Doc Martin, and Father Brown.
She will be remembered fondly for her elegance, witt, and sense of humor.
Above all, she will be remembered for her selfless service and love for her
family.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25th at 11:00 am in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. A calling hour will precede the service.
