Veronica D. Kempees, 89, of Catasauqua, passed away September 16, 2025. She was the wife of Albert Kempees since they wed in 1986.

Born in Kingston, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Dyle. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ before her retirement.

Veronica was a member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nazareth. She was a lover of nature, watching golf, but especially enjoyed her grand and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband Bert are sons; Louis Sanders of Harvey, Louisiana and Stuart Sanders of Clearwater, FL, daughters; Eileen DeVincenzo of Whitehall and Arleen Mazowiesky of Patchogue, NY, a sister, Elaine DeMaris of Livingston, NJ, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, as well as a step-son Andrew Kempees and step-daughter Anne Kemp, both of Catasauqua. Veronica was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Dyle, and sisters; Emily Borris, Antoinette Fitzgerald, and Louise Wilmot.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the service begins.
